Who we are

CitizenReady is the service offered at citizenready.co.uk. You can contact us at any time at [email protected]. These terms apply when you use the site or buy the Pass Pack.

We are not the official test

CitizenReady is an independent study aid. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by the Home Office, UK Visas and Immigration, GOV.UK or the Life in the UK Test itself, and we cannot book a test for you. The real test can only be booked on GOV.UK, where it costs £50. Our questions are our own original work, written from the official handbook, Life in the United Kingdom: A Guide for New Residents. If anything here ever differs from GOV.UK or the handbook, the official source is right.

We will help you prepare thoroughly — but no study aid can guarantee that you pass, and we do not promise a result.

The free site

Practice questions, the diagnostic, chapter practice, guides and the first part of the Exam Series are free, with no account. Free content is provided as-is for personal study.

The Pass Pack

• Price: £9.99, one payment. No subscription, no renewal, nothing further to pay.
• What is included is listed on the Pass Pack page. Items marked there as "in production" (the printable PDF, the audio edition and the full bilingual pack) are included in the price and are delivered free to Pack owners as soon as each is released.
• Delivery: access is granted instantly after payment. You are unlocked in the browser you paid in, and we email you a private restore link — open it on any device to unlock the Pack there. There is no account and no password; your access is a signed key kept on your device.
• Length of access: Pack keys have no expiry date. Your access lasts for as long as CitizenReady operates.
• Personal use: the Pack is for your own preparation. Please do not share or sell your key or restore link; keys obtained by fraud, or shared publicly, may be revoked.

Refunds

Changed your mind? You can have a full refund within 14 days of purchase — just reply to your receipt email or write to [email protected]. Refunds go back to your original payment method through Stripe. When a purchase is refunded (or charged back), the Pack access for that purchase ends and its key stops working. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

Our content

The questions, explanations and learning material on this site are our own work and are protected by copyright — please do not republish them wholesale. Handbook facts are stated as published in the official guide; where the law has moved on since the handbook, the explanation says so.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. For the free site, we are not liable for losses arising from reliance on the content — always check official matters on GOV.UK. If you buy the Pass Pack, our total liability arising from that purchase is limited to the price you paid. We are not responsible for test fees, travel, or the outcome of any application.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the version that applies to a purchase is the one published when you bought. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
